Rich clean coastal waters around New Zealand make ideal conditions for marine farming. Farming of filter feeding bivalves such as the green lipped mussel and pacific oyster have become a major export industry. This client commissioned a photomontage to access the visual impact of the proposed farm on the coastal marine area.

As New Zealand's love affair with the coast continues, achieving a balance between providing facilities that enhance the well being of local communities, such as this marina, and meeting environmental bottom lines is becoming increasingly important.
